2026 Kroc School New Student Orientation
Welcoming the Kroc School's Fall 2026 Cohort!
Join us for a two-part orientation designed to help you connect with faculty, staff, and fellow students as you begin your journey toward a career in peacebuilding, social innovation, and human security.

Peace & Justice Theatre
Kick off orientation with registration, welcome remarks from Dean Darren Kew, an overview of USD student resources, and tips for making the most of your Kroc School experience. The afternoon wraps up with the "You in a Nutshell" videos and Peacemaker Postcards — plus an optional campus walking tour and social at O'Toole's afterward.

Garden of the Sea & KIPJ
Start the day with refreshments and a group photo, then dive into program breakout sessions, the Kroc Quest, and a Dean's Luncheon. The day closes with a Dialogue Across Differences session — and don't miss the KGSA Hosted Gathering at The Gärten that evening to celebrate!
What to expect: Community building, campus resources, career development guidance, and a warm welcome into the Kroc School family.
