University of San Diego (USD) School of Law Don Weckstein Professor in Professional Responsibility; Faculty Director of the Legal Clinics; Professor of Law; and Managing Attorney of the Veterans Legal Clinic, Robert Muth, was recently interviewed about the USD Legal Clinics on the At The Edge of it All podcast. Professor Muth spent time discussing a variety of clinics-related topics. He talked about what the clinics do and who is eligible to receive services from the clinics. He then went on to explain the clinics’ dual missions: to offer both high-quality legal assistance for the San Diego community and excellent practical training for law students. Professor Muth also told some of his favorite memories from his eleven years working at the Legal Clinics. Finally, he talked about the Veteran’s Legal Clinic which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, and how the clinic has expanded and grown over the past decade.

About Faculty Director of the Legal Clinics, Managing Attorney for the Veterans Legal Clinic and Professor of Law Robert Muth

Professor Robert Muth teaches in the areas of veteran’s law and legal ethics. Muth also serves as the faculty director of the award-winning legal clinics program at USD, where he is responsible for academic oversight and strategic planning for USD’s eleven client-services legal clinics. Additionally, Muth is the founder and managing attorney of the USD Veterans Legal Clinic, which provides pro bono legal services to low-income, indigent and homeless veterans and their families.
