Spirituality
University Ministry's various retreats for graduate students that are a great experience whether you want to reinvigorate your faith, discover a new community, or just have some quiet time to think.
University Ministry offers the opportunity for graduate and law students to seek spiritual guidance and/or spend time reflecting with a companion on where God is moving in their lives. Feeling anxiety about life direction, experiencing a particular loss or wanting to find more balance are just some of the many different times that a student might meet with a University Minister.
Feel free to stop by the Graduate and Law Student Commons (SLP 401) or University Ministry Offices (FH 20) to meet with Fr. Greg McGrivern, pmcgivern@sandiego.edu
Immersion Programs
Come serve with us as we help with a physical work project and interact with our partner community of La Morita. In the afternoon we build relationships through home visits and visiting at Casa Memorias- an HIV/AIDS hospice facility. We complete our day by traveling to the border fence and engaging in conversation and reflection regarding border issues and human dignity. Passport required.
If interested, please email Alec Hartman (ahartman@sandiego.edu) & Fr. Greg McGivern (pmcgivern@sandiego.edu) and indicate your name, contact information and your grad program.
