Continue to increase the number of Community Engagement and Public Service designated courses across campus, leading to an increase in the number of students in these courses. Deepen USD’s commitment to community engagement by building and sustaining reciprocal, long-term partnerships across the region that center community voice, advance equity, and generate meaningful, shared impact.
Study Abroad and Global Learning
Increase access to an international experience for all students with strategic partnerships, unique faculty-led programs, and strong local programs that include USD’s international student population.
Institutional Marketing, Communications and Outreach
Grow positive sentiment for USD each year via earned and paid media channels. More broadly publicize arts and culture events, authors, speakers, lectures and other events open to the public.
Athletics
Lead the West Coast Conference in overall competitive success, leading to increased attendance. Deepen commitment to community engagement by expanding partnerships and programming that strengthen Athletics’ connection to Linda Vista and other university anchor neighborhoods.
