With over 30 years of experience in library science, Carrie Fry has dedicated her career to advancing information literacy and academic success. She started work as a hospital librarian at Auburn Regional Medical Center and Sacred Heart Medical Center. Then transitioned into academic librarianship at the University of Washington and Seattle Pacific University. Throughout her career, Carrie has worked extensively with nursing and health science professionals and students, equipping them with essential research skills and fostering a deep understanding of scholarly inquiry. Passionate about student success, she specializes in guiding learners through literature searches, improving research proficiency, and promoting information and digital literacy.

Her research interests include the role of the librarian in research and writing, reading at the collegiate-level, and, most recently, the evolving role of generative AI in academic research and writing.
