Heather Cooke

Instructional Designer

Heather is an Instructional Designer with the Learning Design Center. She has an M.Ed. in Teaching &
Technology from William Woods University, a B.A. in English from Fresno State, and a Human Resources
Training & Development Certificate from UC Santa Cruz Extension. Heather has worked in Higher
Education for the last 10 years in roles including administration, student support, and online
instructional design. Prior to higher education, Heather enjoyed a career in Human Resources in the
Silicon Valley and developed corporate training for working professionals. She loves being a part of the
LCD team here at USD.
