Scholarships for Study in Australia and Oceania

Australia Development Scholarships- ADS aims to contribute to the long-term development needs of Australia's partner countries to promote good governance, economic growth and human development. ADS provides people with the necessary skills and knowledge to drive change and influence the development outcomes of their own country, through obtaining tertiary qualifications at participating Australian institutions.

Australian Leadership Awards- ALA focus on developing leaders who can influence social and economic policy reform and development outcomes in both their own countries and in the Asia-Pacific region. ALAs provide scholarship support for postgraduate studies in Australia and short-term fellowship opportunities in specialized research, study or professional attachments through participating Australian organizations.

Endeavor Awards- Australian Government’s internationally competitive, merit-based scholarship program providing opportunities for citizens of the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Europe and the America’s to undertake study, research or professional development in Australia.

Generation Study Abroad Excellence and Travel Awards- Education New Zealand and New Zealand tertiary institutions will provide support for U.S. students who participate in study abroad programs at New Zealand's universities and Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics - commonly referred to as ITPs, and offering technical and applied degree programs.

Go Overseas New Zealand Scholarship- One US undergraduate student will win $15,000 to cover the tuition to study abroad in New Zealand for a semester in 2020. A free round trip flight is included.  Students should review the eligible programs.

Tasmanian International Scholarship- These scholarships provide international students with a 25% reduction in registered tuition fees for the duration of the course. It is available to all bachelor degrees (except Medicine, Pharmacy and Psychology). The scholarship is for tuition fees only and is not transferable to other costs such as living expenses.
