Rachel Barba (she/her) is a Study Abroad Manager at the International Center. Rachel was born and raised in southeast San Diego, California and received a B.A. in Communication with a minor in Leadership Studies from USD. During her time as an undergraduate, Rachel studied abroad in Auckland, New Zealand. Rachel is an active member of her community and is passionate about serving others through an empathetic and group-centered leadership style. She is also passionate about international travel and spends her free time adventuring to new places and learning about new cultures. Being a Study Abroad Manager allows her to combine her passions for serving students and being an engaged global citizen.
