Professional Experience
Lindsay Allen, PhD serves as the Director of the Global Center at the University of San Diego, where she leads the planning, organization, and evaluation of international graduate programs. In this role, she provides strategic oversight for global initiatives, fosters and sustains partnerships with international institutions, and manages the operational and financial aspects of graduate global programs offered through the School of Leadership and Education Sciences, the Hahn School of Nursing, and the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies.
Beyond her administrative leadership, Lindsay is an experienced educator who teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in leadership and organizational behavior. Her teaching emphasizes fostering global perspectives, cultural competency, and the practical application of leadership theories in real-world contexts.
Lindsay holds a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from the University of San Diego, where her dissertation explored leadership lessons from women U.S. Secretaries of State. Her expertise spans strategic planning, international program management, and leadership development. She is deeply committed to empowering students and professionals to become impactful leaders and changemakers in a globally interconnected world.
