Lindsay Allen, PhD, serves as Director of the Office of International Studies Abroad. She provides strategic leadership for the university's study abroad programs, overseeing international partnerships, program development, student mobility, health and safety, and initiatives that expand access to global learning opportunities. She works collaboratively with faculty and partners around the world to create transformative international experiences that support students' academic, personal, and intercultural development. In 2026, she was selected as a recipient of the Fulbright International Education Administrators Award to Taiwan.
Beyond her administrative leadership, Lindsay teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in leadership and management at the University of San Diego. Her teaching focuses on organizational behavior, strategic planning and positioning, with an emphasis on helping students apply leadership theory to real-world organizational challenges.
Lindsay earned her Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from the University of San Diego. Her dissertation explored leadership lessons from women U.S. Secretaries of State. Her professional interests include international education, leadership development, and expanding access to meaningful global learning experiences.
