Maggie joins USD's International Center with over 7 years of experience in international education. She began her student advising career with ISEP, the world's largest university exchange consortium, working with students from over 350 universities in 55 countries on study abroad programs. She spent the last several years working on capacity building programs for UNESCO and USAID's global education sector staff.
A native of the Seattle area, Maggie's first study abroad experience was in a rural town in Spain in high school; since then, she spent a semester as an undergraduate in Madrid, conducted research on short-term programs in Germany and Cuba, and interned in Chile. She holds a master's degree in International Education with a focus on international exchange and global citizenship from George Washington University. She is excited to work with USD students to increase access to study abroad and help students find programs that aid them in their academic and professional development.
