She has been working at USD for over 10 years and truly enjoy the community and its people. She is the Director of Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) where she has the honor to work with a team of talented people and oversee regulations policy, student programing & outreach area, and also serve as a liaison to the academic departments and Human Resources in issues concerning international faculty and researcher. The most rewarding part of her job is that she gets to learn lots of amazing personal stories from the international students and scholars – it’s a traveling around the world experience without taking any flight. Her top two advices to international students are 1) to seek out for support and help whenever you have a doubt or question and 2) to get out and enjoy this wonderful city and meet new friends & connect with old ones.
