Exchange Program Coordinator

Shaylyn serves as the Exchange Program Coordinator for inbound students. The primary population that she works with are J-1 undergraduate students. She also helps to manage our exchange partnerships. Shaylyn received both her Bachelors of Science in Chemistry with a minor in Spanish and her M.A. in Post-Secondary Education with specialization in Student Affairs from San Diego State University. Her love for international and intercultural relations was first realized through her involvement in diverse student groups and finally acted upon during her time abroad as an undergraduate student. She believes there is inherent value in cross-cultural relationships and recommends that everyone should take time to know and learn a new culture whether abroad or in their own backyards.
