Cash

Outright gifts of cash or its equivalent enable the donor to claim an income tax charitable deduction for the full value of the gift. For gifts in the form of cash, please contact the Office of Annual Giving at (619) 260-4724 for more information.

Checks

Make checks payable to the University of San Diego and mail to:

Please provide your name, address, gift designation and class year along with your check.

Credit Cards

Outright gifts or pledge payments may also be made by credit card by using our secure online giving page or by contacting the USD Office of Annual Giving at (619) 260-4724. To make a credit card gift by phone, call (619) 260-4724. USD honors MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover. We will need your name, credit card number and expiration date.

The card security code is a unique three- or four-digit number, separate from your credit card number. Your security code can be found in the following locations on the following cards:

Visa/MasterCard Your card security code for your MasterCard or Visa card is a three-digit number on the back of your credit card, immediately following your main card number.
American Express The card security code for your American Express card is a four-digit number located on the front of your credit card, to the right or left above your main credit card number.
Privacy Disclosure USD will not use or in anyway transfer to third parties the personal data indicated by you with respect to your credit/debit card (card number, expire date or the CVV/CSC code).
