What is the difference between the Torero Athletic Fund and Sports Specific Giving Clubs?
The Torero Athletic Fund is the fundraising arm of University of San Diego Athletics. Sports specific giving clubs are under the umbrella of the TAF and will support the sport specific operating budgets/initiatives.
How are gifts to the Torero Athletic Fund used?
Gifts to the sports specific giving clubs are used for the sports operating budget and strategic initiatives by the head coach. Members can earmark donations to programs for specific items (i.e., Gear, Travel, etc.). Gifts to the Championship Investment Fund will be used to make championship investments by the Athletic Director.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes, your donation is 100% tax deductible if you choose to waive your Torero Athletic Fund benefits.
