Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Incorporated. (ΙΦΘ)

Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Incorporated, is working to become the first Black fraternity established at the University of San Diego. Currently building their chapter class, the group includes a diverse range of student leaders—from ROTC cadets to members of the Black Student Union—who are committed to shaping a lasting legacy on campus. Founded on September 19, 1963, at Morgan State College (now Morgan State University), Iota Phi Theta was created by 12 visionary men with a purpose rooted in the development and perpetuation of Scholarship, Leadership, Citizenship, Fidelity, and Brotherhood among Men. As the organization begins its journey at USD, Iota Phi Theta continues to honor this founding vision by empowering students to lead with purpose, character, and a deep commitment to community.
