Shannon Bailey is an Automation Engineer for Dexcom Inc, a continuous glucose monitoring company, based in San Diego, CA. She is responsible for the development of new automated manufacturing solutions for Dexcom’s G6 applicator product line and other new product lines. She oversees the multiple stages of the system development life cycle until operational implementation when the maintenance of the system is transitioned to sustaining production support in Dexcom’s multiple manufacturing locations.
She received her BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering from the USD Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering in 2017. She is a founding member of USD’s Chapter of Theta Tau, a coed professional engineering fraternity, and a former USD Engineering Research student.
