Nate has worked in the theatre for over twenty years as a lighting designer, production manage and technical director. A part of the San Diego theatre community for over fifteen years, Nate has lighted shows such as Damn Yankees (San Diego Musical Theatre), Kingdom (Old Globe Theatre), Brownsville, B Side for Tray (Moxie Theatre), MiXtape, Wit, Into the Woods Lambs Players Theatre, and Golden Boy (New Village Arts). He is a founding member of Art Builds, a collaborative organization on the University of San Diego campus dedicated to cross-campus partnerships to create large scale art pieces. Nate is a member of the faculty in the University of San Diego Department of Theatre and received his MFA from the University of Texas at Austin.
