Leon Shpaner M.S. (publishes academically as Leonid Shpaner), whose work can be further explored at https://www.leonshpaner.com, is a seasoned data scientist with over a decade of experience in analytics. He currently applies his expertise in the healthcare sector, where he develops predictive models to support clinical decision making and risk assessment.
His research and applied contributions include machine learning models for mortality prediction in Intensive Care Units (ICU) and risk prediction models for progression to end-stage kidney disease. This work reflects a focus on translating statistical and machine learning methods into clinically meaningful tools.
