Hanna Pitts, MS, currently serves as the budget and operations manager in the College of Arts and Sciences. She manages all budgeting, accounting and operational processes for the College.
Pitts started her journey at the University of San Diego in January 2013 on a temporary project for Public Safety. She went on to work in USD’s Office of Accounts Payable, the Finance and Administration Office in the USD School of Law and the Procurement Services office.
Pitts joined the College in June of 2022, serving as a department coordinator and later as a department manager for the Dean’s Office. In these roles, she worked collaboratively with colleagues to build cohesion and standardized best practices across the 19 academic departments within the College.
Pitts graduated from USD with a master’s degree in supply chain management. She has an interest in operational efficiency as a result of shared learning practices and collaborative, cross-functional interaction within organizations.
