Doctoral Psychology Intern
- Psy.D., Clinical Psychology (In Progress)
Clinical Interests and Areas of Expertise:
My interests include supporting students navigating anxiety, depression, identity development, queer folx, adjustment concerns and belonging, trauma, self-esteem, and body image concerns.
Theoretical Orientation:
I flexibly integrate from a variety of theoretical orientations to best fit the needs of my clients. I use a psychodynamic approach to explore how the past impacts the present so that we can raise awareness and build insight into the patterns that keep you stuck. I also pull from cognitive-behavioral models to add skills into your toolbox to help create meaningful change.
My Approach to Therapy:
My approach to therapy is warm, humorous, curious, collaborative, and strengths-based. I believe that fostering the therapeutic relationship is essential so that my clients can feel seen, heard, and understood. I see my client’s unique background, identity, and lived experiences as central and integrate this into all aspects of our work together.
Personal Interests:
In my free time, I love to explore the food scene and bake sourdoughs and cakes. I also enjoy playing pickleball and camping!
