Collegium was founded by Thomas Landy, Ph.D., in 1992, to deepen faculty vocation and to support faculty to better understand the collective mission of Catholic higher education. A central program for Collegium is the Summer Colloquy, an annual week-long experience where faculty from all religious backgrounds and disciplinary areas come to learn and reflect on issues germane to teaching, conducting scholarship and creativity work, and joining with colleagues on their campuses. The Colloquy is held every June, rotating between host campuses College of the Holy Cross, St. John’s University, and the University of Portland.
