Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the Certificate program, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate a proficiency in thinking critically about contemporary ethical issues.
- Appreciate and effectively practice the application of ethical theories and concepts to questions concerning modern innovations.
- Identify and address, and help others to identify and address, the social and ethical aspects of technologies from early research and development phases to their use and possible regulation.
- Develop and present, orally and/or in writing, an original project addressing the intersection of emerging technology with its social and ethical impacts.
