Lecturer II
- Dr. Nicholas Wymbs received his B.A. in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame and his Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Dr. Wymbs then conducted postdoctoral research at Johns Hopkins University and the Kennedy Krieger Institute, where he studied motor systems neuroscience in neurotypical and neurologically impaired individuals across development. Following his postdoctoral fellowship, Dr. Wymbs worked as a Health Program Specialist at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS). His research interests include examining neural connectivity (fMRI, EEG), especially as it relates to our ability to learn and express motor skills, and neural data fusion using machine learning techniques in order to develop brain computer interfaces (BCIs).
