The Humanities Center Student Board

(HCSB) was established with the purpose of enhancing student participation in the Center. Student board members will help conceive ideas for events, design student-led programs, voice student views about the center and work to attract prospective students to participate in the success of the center.

The 2025-26 HCSB is led by President Olivia Hines (Environmental Ocean Sciences) and Vice President Annella Rice (Art History).

Meeting Dates: Second Tuesdays of the Month at 1 p.m.
February 17 (information session), March 10, April 14, May 5

February 19 - Poetry Workshop with The Alcalá Review
February 26 - Trivium Exhibition Opening and Poetry Reading

  • Exchange Ideas
    Participate in our programs and events. Plan events, organize activities or lead discussions. Volunteer your talents.
  • Represent the Student Voice
    Voice student issues and opinions on humanities centered topics and ideas for positive impact.
  • Make Connections
    Build relationships across campus by being an HC liaison. Connect with other clubs and groups on campus and make connections across disciplines.
  • Be an Ambassador
    Contribute to creating a welcoming and friendly environment. Help promote awareness of the center.
