Juris Doctor-MBA Dual Degree Program — JD/MBA
Study business and law, simultaneously.
Whether you are interested in starting your own law practice or seeking to master the legal and ethical side of managing a business, the Juris Doctor-MBA dual degree program offers you a solid foundation to launch or advance your career.
Finishing your JD and MBA degrees at a full-time pace will take four years. You will spend your first and/or second year at the School of Law, and then study at our business school the following year. During the remaining two years, you will take classes in both schools.
Total MBA Units Required: 47
Total JD Units Required: 82
Complementary classes
Six of the units you take for the MBA will count toward your JD degree, and six of the units you take for the JD will count toward your MBA degree. Since each school has its own process, we highly recommend consulting with both your JD and MBA academic advisors for information on how to apply these units.
