Sevis Fee Information

Before visiting the US Consulate/Embassy in your country, you must first pay a $100 Fee before you will be issued a visa. This fee can not be paid at the Consulate/Embassy.If you do not pay this fee prior to your visit to the US Consulate/Embassy, they will not issue you a visa.

We recommend that you download Form I-901 and pay the fee online in order to print your receipt immediately to take to the Consulate/Embassy. Paying via postal mail will not ensure you get a receipt before your visa appointment.

To pay online:

  1. Visit : www.FMJfee.com
  2. Download Form I-901.
  3. Complete Form I-901. Please write your name exactly as it appears on your I-20 or DS-2019 (you received this form from USD).
  4. Supply the necessary Visa, MasterCard or American Express information.
  5. Print a copy of the receipt.
  6. Keep this receipt and present it with your other immigration information to the US Consulate/Embassy for your visa.

To pay via Western Union Quick Pay service:

  1. Read instructions on:www.ice.gov/sevis
  2. Print instructions from this page and a sample completed Western Union form.
  3. Visit:www.FMJfee.com.
  4. Download Form I-901.
  5. Complete Form I-901. Please write your name exactly as it appears on your I-20 or DS-2019 (you received this form from USD).
  6. Bring instructions, sample Western Union form, I-901, local currency equaling $100 to a Western Union.
  7. Obtain a receipt from Western Union.
  8. Keep this receipt and present it with your other immigration information to the US Consulate/Embassy for your visa.

To pay via mail:

  1. Download completeForm I-901 from: www.FMJfee.com or request by phone: 1-800-870-3676.
  2. Preparea check or money order for $100. Make payable to: The Department of Homeland Security.
  3. Mailto the address on the Form I-901.
  4. You will receiveForm I-797, a receipt of payment to bring with you to the US Consulate/Embassy.
