The Rock, The River, The Tree: TRiO Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement program, known at USD as the TRiO McNair Scholars Program is funded by the U.S. Department of Education. This program identifies and prepares eligible students for graduate studies leading to the Ph.D. by providing research training and early scholarly experiences to high-achieving undergraduate USD students. The program is named in honor of deceased NASA astronaut, Dr. Ronald. E. McNair.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Applicants who meet the requirements will be notified of their admission contingent on availability. Students are encouraged to apply early.
