Jesse Rapport, GSC Chair

School of Leadership and Education Sciences

Jesse is a second year in the MA Higher Education Leadership program. She is originally from Portland, Oregon and received her BS in Communication Studies from Southern Oregon University in 2012. After she completed college Jesse served as an AmeriCorps member and worked with under-represented college students developing a peer mentor program to help increase retention. She is currently a Graduate Assistant in the Student Leadership and Involvement Center at USD where she works to advise the undergraduate student programming board. Jesse is an avid hula hooper... but not very good.

Ben is in his second year of the MA Higher Education Leadership program. He is originally from Grandview, Washington and received his BA in Communication Studies from Seattle University in 2010. After graduating, Ben spent three years working at Seattle Central Community College before moving to beautiful San Diego, California. He is currently a Graduate Assistant in the Center for Student Success. Some of Ben's favorite activities include working out, reading, and blogging.






Evan Allen, GSC Council Member

School of Law

Evan is a third-year law student who plans to practice employment law. He is originally from Pacific Grove, California and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from San Diego State University in 2010. Evan was an All-American cheerleader in high school and have collected over $300 in change I found on the ground.

Sean Horrigan works as the Director of Student Conduct and Graduate Student Life and has been at USD since 2002. Sean serves as the Administrative Ex-officio (advisor) to the GSC. He completed his masters at USD and is now working on his PhD in the SOLES Leadership Studies program.  Sean also helps over see the operations of the Graduate and Law Student Commons in SLP 401. If you ever need any help at USD please do not hesitate to contact him or a GSC member for assistance.

She is the Graduate Assistant for Graduate Student Life and serves as an ex-officio (advisor) to the GSC with Sean. Karen is from New York and received a BA in Communications/Sports Journalism, dance and English from Springfield College in Massachusetts.
