There are many ways to support undergraduate research at the University of San Diego:
Research Internships
If you are part of a company, organization, or government agency that conducts scientific, engineering, or social science research, consider having a USD undergraduate as a research intern. Please contact the Office of Undergraduate Research for more information.
Summer Research
Our on-campus research programs, STAR and BURST, offers undergraduate students the opportunity to conduct a summer-long research, scholarly or creative project under the mentorship of a USD faculty member. A donation of $12,000 supports a STAR or BURST student's 10 week summer project.
Undergraduate Research Conferences
Every spring, the University of San Diego hosts the Creative Collaborations Showcase, a celebration of student-faculty research, internships, creative works, and scholarship. Students present their work in the form of short, pecha-kucha presentations. A contribution of $50 allows one student to print and present a poster at the Fall Colloquium.
