The Tele-mental Health Training Clinic is a community clinic operated within the School of Leadership and Education Sciences at the University of San Diego. The USD Tele-mental Health Clinic in San Diego, California, provides high quality and affordable counseling services for school-age children and adolescents, their parents, and college age adults. Telemental Health is a face-to-face video therapy that allows clients to have appointments in real time through confidential, secure online video conferencing. Counseling services are provided by graduate-level counseling trainees under the supervision of our clinic director, who holds a PsyD in Applied Clinical Psychology and is a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and AAMFT Approved Supervisor Candidate.
The clinic's hours of operation are:
Mondays
7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Tuesdays
4 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Wednesdays
7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Thursdays
7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Saturdays
8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
(1x/monthly - First weekend of the month, tentatively starting in Fall)

Payment
The Tele-mental Health Training Clinic will collect fees for confirmed clients on the first day the service is offered. The Clinic accepts payment through the online therapy platform only. We do not accept third-party payment.

Scholarships Offered
The Tele-mental Health Training Clinic strives to make services easily accessible to individuals and families in financial need by providing scholarships (i.e., fee reductions). If you would like to apply for a scholarship, please review this form and present the necessary documentation to the Clinic staff for verification as soon as possible. Scholarships are limited and provided on a first-come, first-served basis. You will be notified of the status of your scholarship qualification as soon as the Clinic staff receives your qualifying documents. Please keep in mind that the Clinic may not be able to offer fee reductions to all clients. Fee reduction availability and amounts vary from service to service. Please fill out the fee reduction request and submit along with the application.
