On-campus food assistance resources
These pantries are accessible to any community member experiencing food insecurity.
SOLES Food Pantry
Students are welcome to access the School of Leadership and Education Sciences (SOLES) Food Pantry as their needs arise. The pantry operates on an honor system. There is no registration or information needed to utilize the food pantry.
For those who are able to give, we encourage you to donate:
- non-perishable everyday food items
- toiletries and home essentials
- pop-top canned goods are helpful for those without can openers
Please be sure to check the expiration dates on items.

USD Food Pantry
The University of San Diego is working towards eliminating the concern of food insecurity from our university. The UC location includes food as well as school supplies, hygiene supplies, laundry detergent and a Torero Closet.

Frequently asked questions
The pantry is located in the SOLES Student Lounge (MRH 122B) on the first floor by Bert’s Bistro.
The SOLES food pantry is open to all current SOLES students.
Students can access the pantry at any time during the open hours of operation. Monday-Sunday, 7:30 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Donations are always welcome. You can leave items directly on the pantry shelves or drop them off at The Office of the Dean (MRH 205).
