Lily Vistica is a full-time faculty member in the Counseling and Marital and Family Therapy Department. She is a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist and an Approved Supervisor in the American Association of Marital and Family Therapy. In her role as Director of Clinical Training for the department, she places all students for their practicum and fieldwork experiences. She is the department liaison with community partners and works closely with students to ensure they receive effective training in the community. Lily also serves on the Faculty Council for USD's Mulvaney Center for Community, Awareness and Social Action. Lily teaches MFTS 595/596/597 Practicum Supervision, MFTS 562 Recovery Orientated Case Management and MFTS 532 Human Diversity in MFT courses.
Her clinical interests are in the areas of diversifying the behavioral health workforce, homeless solutions and enhancing access to services for the disability community. Lily volunteers with the American Red Cross and is the Lead of the Disaster Mental Health team where she provides mental health services to victims of disasters throughout San Diego and Imperial Counties.
