Sahar Adibi Dominguez, currently serves as the Assistant Dean of Recruitment, Enrollment, and Enterprise Development. With over a decade of dedicated service in higher education, more specifically, Admissions and Recruitment, Sahar aims to foster an inclusive, diverse and welcoming environment for all students. Sahar oversees and directs the recruitment and enrollment processes at SOLES. In her role. Sahar collaborates and works closely with various campus partners, including financial aid, graduate admissions, and marketing, to create a seamless and supportive environment for prospective students. In addition, Sahar leads strategic partnership and pipeline efforts that align with SOLES mission and values.
Prior to her current position, Sahar served as the Director of Admissions at UC San Diego Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. There, she led admissions and recruitment efforts, with a particular focus on enhancing diversity, inclusion, accessibility and equity.
Sahar holds a Doctor of Education degree from Arizona State University, complemented by an MBA and a Bachelor of Science degree. Her research expertise centers around justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI), with a particular emphasis on underserved populations. Sahar also explores the impact of mentorship programs on JEDI and enrollment management, contributing valuable insights to the academic community.
Outside of work, Sahar enjoys exploring new foods, watching movies and TV shows, and reading. She also enjoys staying active with her two sons and husband- enjoying beautiful San Diego!
