Upon successful completion of the certificate, participants will be able to:
Understand and demonstrate what team coaching is, the difference between team coaching and other modalities of team development and the appropriate use of each modality.
Develop team coaching skills in alignment with ICF’s Team Coaching Competencies and understand the distinction between competencies for individual coaching and team-based coaching.
Coach the team as a single entity.
Cultivate trust and safety in a team. Apply varying levels of listening and observing, ranging from verbal to non-verbal behavior.
Transfer coaching skills from one-on-one coaching to team coaching, such as asking questions, listening, evoking awareness and facilitating team growth and development.
Identify strengths and ongoing development needs based on self-reflection, instructor feedback, peer-to-peer feedback, coaching supervision and live observation of coaching skills.
