Director
Traci Merrill serves as the Director of the Office of Sponsored Programs and brings over 20 years of experience in research administration. She oversees the strategic direction and management of both pre-award grant and contract administration, as well as post-award non-financial administration. Traci plays a key leadership role in integrating national best practices into institutional policies and procedures to ensure compliance with agency regulations and university policies.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts from San Diego State University and a Master of Education from the University of San Diego. A Certified Research Administrator since 2010, Traci is an active member of the National Council of University Research Administrators, Inter-Mountain University Research Administration, and the National Organization of Research Development Professionals. She also contributes to several university committees, including the Institutional Review Board, Hispanic Serving Institution Advisory Council, and the Copley Library Committee.
