Fellowships and Assistantships

Come remake the world with us

Kroc School fellowships and assistantships provide students opportunities to develop their career paths with valuable, real-world experience while earning tuition support.

Kroc Practice Fellowships

Broadening the Kroc School experience, the Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice offers students sought-after fellowships. Fellows become a part of the Kroc IPJ team to support its initiatives: Women, Peace and Security, Cross-Border Initiatives, Impact:Peace and other San Diego-based peacebuilding programs. These 15-hours-per-week positions, awarded during the Kroc School admission process, are paid and also receive additional tuition support in the amount of $5,000.

Graduate assistantships

Kroc School graduate assistantships offer students the opportunity to immerse themselves in peace studies while receiving $1,296 in tuition support. Over the course of 40 hours per semester, assistants collaborate with faculty on research, pedagogical innovations and work that further prepares them for impactful careers. Applications open to all in-person Kroc School students at the start of each semester.
