Celebration of Scholarly and Creative Achievements
Remarks from Dr. Lyons
Welcome to the First Annual Celebration of Scholarly and Creative Achievements. We are here to honor all faculty, staff and administrators who have submitted requests for extramural funding to support programming, research and creative activities in fiscal year 2013. As you know, at USD we strive to advance academic excellence, expand liberal and professional knowledge, create a diverse and inclusive community, and prepare leaders dedicated to ethical conduct and compassionate service. Of course, it’s the members of our campus community that allow us to articulate these important values and strive to achieve what we aspire to. Extramural funding helps USD achieve excellence.
The Offices of Foundation Relations and Sponsored Programs interface to support grant seekers. Foundation Relations primarily interfaces between the institution and Foundations while Sponsored Programs helps faculty identify funding sources, develop and submit proposals to external funders….
Former President Mary E. Lyons, PhD.
