My specialty areas are metaphysics and philosophical theology. My primary interest in metaphysics is in questions of identity through time, including especially the problem of personal persistence. In philosophical theology I've worked primarily on the doctrine of the Trinity and the real presence doctrine. My most recent book is _The Trinity: A Philosophical Investigation_.

I also work in areas of applied ethics and feminism, especially economic issues. I've regularly team taught econ/philosophy courses focused on women's labor force participation. As for other applied ethics issues my first book was _The Multicultural Mystic: The Liberal Case Against Diversity_.

I am an avid history buff and a citizen of Byzantium Novum, a largely online micronation, as Thecla Porphyrogenita, Countess of California.
