Tara Ceranic Salinas, department chair of management and professor of business ethics, joined the University of San Diego's new podcast, At the Edge of It All, to discuss how women "tightrope" in the workplace and how to break the cycle. Her research on the topic is contributing to the development of her upcoming book.

"Tightroping" is a term coined by Professor Salinas to describe how people constantly regulate their behavior to fit in at work and beyond. She explains that everyone experiences balancing these external factors, but wanted to focus on tightroping manifests itself in women because of her own experience as a female.

Tara Ceranic Salinas teaches undergraduate and graduate courses at the University of San Diego's Knauss School of Business that address topics including business ethics, women in management, corporate culture and leadership.
