USD Department of Theatre is excited to bring you one of Shakespeare's most popular and enticing comedies, A Midsummer Night's Dream directed by Assistant Professor Jersten Seraile, MFA. The play unfolds within two magical worlds when four Athenian lovers and a group of amateur actors enter an enchanted forest ruled by fairies. The Fairy King of Shadows decides to prank the intruders and other fairies leading to chaotic romantic misadventures before world order is restored. Experience one of Shakespeare's most immersive comedies filled with humor, transformation and love at first sight!

The Studio Theatre is reasonably accessible — no stairs to enter the theatre — however, some of the seating is up several small steps. If you require assistance, or require seating on the ground, please contact us and we will try our best to accomodate.
The Studio Theatre is located in Sacred Heart Hall on the USD Campus. Sacred Heart Hall can be found on the north end of the Camino/Founders Courtyard. Find the Studio Theatre here.
After 7 p.m. Monday - Friday and on Saturday/Sunday, permits and paid parking are not required.
Parking on campus between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on weekdays requires payment at the following rates: 1 hour - $2.50; 2 hours - $5.00; 4 hours - $10.00; Full day - $18.00. Parking after 7 p.m. and on weekends is free.
