Minerva Lecture Series

Recently retired after teaching at the University of San Diego since 1987, Roger Pace, PhD's, career as a Professor of Communication was multi-faceted. Distinguished in the areas of teaching, research and administration, Pace has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the Davis Award for Outstanding Teaching, the Drinan Award for meritorious service to the university, the Parents’ Association Award of Excellence, and USD’s Professorship of Merit for his achievements in scholarly and creative work.
In his Minerva Lecture, Dr. Pace will reflect upon various approaches to student success. Looking beyond the aggregate data concerning retention and graduation percentages, he will discuss the individual students behind the numbers.
