USD Basketball to Introduce JR Blount as New Head Coach
Blount joins the Toreros after helping lead Iowa State to four NCAA Tournament appearances in four seasons
The USD community is invited to help welcome new Torero men's basketball head coach JR Blount to campus! A welcome event and press conference are scheduled for 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24 in front of the Palomar Health Student Wellness Center. Light refreshments and food will be served, and all Toreros are invited to attend the event.
A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Blount heads to San Diego after reaching five NCAA Tournaments with Iowa State.
