Knauss MSSCM Program Ranks Among Nation’s Best by U.S. News & World Report, Earns Top 30 Recognition for Veterans
This week the Master’s of Science in Supply Chain Management (MSSCM) program at the University of San Diego’s Knauss School of Business was recognized among the U.S. News & World Report 2026 Best Online Graduate Business Programs. The Knauss MSSCM program leaped an impressive 66 spots since last year, being ranked #53 in 2026 and #119 in 2025.
"Climbing 66 spots to #53 in the nation is a powerful validation of our commitment to academic excellence and student success,” said Sandy Shi, PhD, department chair of supply chain, operations and information systems and professor of supply chain management. “This leap reflects our program’s evolution in meeting the complex demands of the global supply chain, and we are incredibly proud of the hard work our faculty, staff and students have put in to reach this milestone."
The U.S. News & World Report also ranked the MSSCM program #26 for Best Online Master's in Business Programs for Veterans, appearing for the first time since 2022. With a consistent and ever-growing veteran population at the Knauss School of Business, this ranking showcases the university’s dedication to serving military students. Currently, around 32% of graduate students at Knauss are military-affiliated.

The 2026 Best Online Master's in Business Programs rankings assess master's-level business degree programs that are not MBA programs. For the latest edition, U.S. News ranked online business programs using five categories: engagement, peer assessment, faculty credentials and training, student excellence, and services and technologies.
