Vinny Seepaul is the Program Director of the #CaliforniansForAll USD College Corps Fellowship Program and an Associate Director at the Mulvaney Center for Community, Awareness, and Social Action. An alumnus of the University of San Diego, Vinny graduated with a degree in Political Science and found his passion for community engagement while working at the Mulvaney Center during his undergraduate years.

Vinny's expertise lies in utilizing civic-service programs and community engagement as powerful tools for the recruitment, retention, and social mobility of marginalized student populations. The College Corps initiative, a groundbreaking program, aims to create debt-free pathways to college while involving students across California in solving critical community issues.

Vinny firmly believes that a functional society is rooted in equity. He advocates for accessibility, affordability, diversity, and safety as essential components of physical, social, and mental well-being. "When we talk about equity and justice, both ideals I believe the Mulvaney Center and the #CaliforniansForAll College Corps operate under, I couldn’t ask for a better career," he asserts.

As a first-generation, low-income college student, Vinny intimately understands the struggle of balancing academics with financial concerns. His experience in supporting the retention and graduation of first-generation, low-income, underrepresented students, and those with documented disabilities, equips him with a unique perspective to support diverse student populations through community service learning.
