Professor Morsek teaches Legal Writing and Research LLMC and Contracts Drafting LLMC.
Professional Experience
Professor Morsek serves as the compliance, legal, and regulatory SME for the Sherlock Division at the San Diego Supercomputer Center. Through this role, she meticulously reviews, analyzes, and synthesizes privacy, cybersecurity, and healthcare laws and regulations at both the state and federal levels. She further oversees the evaluation and implementation of all contractual documents for the Division. Professor Morsek is also an experienced litigation attorney. She has represented international and national corporations in complex products liability, asbestos, and antitrust matters. Professor Morsek clerked for the Torts Division of the Attorney General’s Office, Washington.
She has instructed and evaluated Juris Doctor candidates in legal writing and research at the University of Akron School of Law.
Honors and Affiliations
Professor Morsek was awarded the Board of Trustees Full Tuition Scholarship from the University of Akron School of Law where she graduated magna cum laude. She was also awarded the Graduate Law Merit Scholarship from the University of San Diego School of Law while pursuing her LLM. Professor Morsek was selected as a lecturer to educate scholars and judges from Korea attending the University of San Diego School of Law International Scholars Seminar.
