In Memoriam: Greg Prieto, PhD
It is with deep sadness that I share the passing of my colleague and co-chair, Greg Prieto, PhD. Working alongside Dr. Prieto was both an honor and a gift. His steady leadership, thoughtful advocacy, and unwavering commitment to the well-being of USD's faculty, staff, and students shaped our campus community in lasting ways.
As my partner in co-chairing the HSI Advisory Committee, Dr. Prieto approached every challenge with clarity, compassion, and a profound sense of responsibility. He was a champion for voices that needed to be heard and a tireless advocate for creating a more equitable and supportive environment for all.
Our community is better because of Dr. Prieto's service, and his impact will be felt for many years to come. He will be deeply missed.
Reyes Quesada, PhD, who has served as interim co-chair for the past year, has agreed to assume the role of co-chair.
