Strategies to Achieve
Horizon Project Goals: Policies
The social justice principles that we embrace help us to identify and contest policies and processes in which power and privilege utilize diversity for inequitable outcomes along intersecting lines — race, class, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ability and more, which inhibits democratic empowerment, civil and human rights. Our principles of inclusive excellence help us to shape institutional policies and processes that incorporate and promote diversity in training and recruiting, ensuring we secure diverse pools of employment candidates at all levels of the institution.
