The Center for Health and Wellness Promotion serves as a vital community resource by offering a wide spectrum of interactive presentations and outreach initiatives designed to foster overall well-being. Their programming spans foundational lifestyle topics, such as stress management, to active campus engagement through resource tabling at campus events and student fairs. Beyond general wellness, the center provides specialized, life-saving evidence-based trainings, including Narcan administration for opioid overdose reversal and Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) gatekeeper training for suicide prevention. By equipping individuals with actionable harm-reduction tools and peer support skills, these workshops empower the community to build resilience, reduce mental health stigma, and respond effectively in crisis situations.
