Stephanie Zaren Castro has been a member of the University Advancement team since 2011. In her current role, she is responsible for developing strategies and executing event logistics for the university’s academic events, including Commencement. Prior to this role, as the Assistant Director for University Events and Partnerships, she served as the event lead for a variety of events including the Founders Gala, Grandparents’ Weekend, President’s Club events, Torero Tours and the Kyoto Prize Symposium. Before returning to USD, she worked at the Hotel del Coronado as a Catering Sales Manager, where her responsibilities included selling and executing corporate and social events.
