CPPC is dedicated to help reduce the number of victims from gun violence in California. According to the California Department of Justice, someone is killed with a gun every three hours in California and gun violence costs the state approximately $18 billion each year, despite California having one of the lowest rates of firearm mortality in the United States (44th out of 50). CPPC continues to work on legislative initiatives and with California leaders to help combat gun violence within our communities.
